THE 10 WEEK BEGINNER PROGRAMME
We understand that starting something new can sometimes feel intimidating. To help with this, we have developed our new 10 week Beginner Programme. So you can be sure you will be training in a safe, ego-free environment with like minded individuals, starting their journey in self defence just like you.
Our Beginner Programme has been created carefully by our fully qualified instructors, specifically for individuals starting their journey in self defence. It will teach you the basics of realistic self defence and give you a good idea of what Krav Maga is all about, all whilst increasing your fitness, helping you gain confidence and lose weight.
HOW IT WORKS
The Beginner Programme is made up of 10 lessons. After you complete all 10 lessons, you can then go into the regular classes and begin working towards your first grade (if you want to grade of-course). The 10 lessons are as follows:
Week 1 - Effective Striking For Self Defence
Week 2 - Simple Solutions For Dealing With Knife Threats
Week 3 - Defending The Most Common Street Attack
Week 4 - Dealing With Verbal Confrontation & Using Talk Down Tactics
Week 5 - How To Fight Off Your Back Effectively Against A Standing Attacker
Week 6 - Releases To Common Grabs
Week 7 - How To Deal With A Knife Stab Or Slash
Week 8 - Escaping From Headlocks & Bearhugs
Week 9 - Defence Against A Baseball Bat Swing
Week 10 - Tactical Solutions Against Multiple Attackers
The 10 lessons repeat continuously throughout the year so it doesn’t matter when you join!
IS IT FOR ME?
Our 10 week beginner programme was carefully created with everyone in mind. We understand that starting self defence classes can be intimidating, so we have compiled a list of common questions to help ease your mind when considering coming to your first class.
Am I fit enough? - YES! Our beginner classes are designed to help you learn the basics of self defence and Krav Maga, they are introductory sessions that everyone can do. In the lesson you can work to your own fitness level.
Am I too old? - NO! We have taught students 65+. Krav Maga is a non competitive system, meaning you can train at your own pace and to your own level.
